  Development Education

Development education deals with world development, human rights, justice and world citizenship.

We are now aware of living in a global community in which we are inextricably linked to one another in interdependence. In such a world, education has an important part to play in helping us, children and adults alike, to recognise the rights and responsibilities which we all have as citizens of this global community.

This course will equip teachers with the necessary skills, knowledge and mind-set to bring a development education dimension to the primary school curriculum.
