  Certificates online - September 1st 2009  
Thank you for doing an online course with us this year.
If your coursework has been approved, your Certificate of Completion is now available for you to download. (if you are still awaiting coursework approval, it will be available once your work is approved) You can access it by logging onto the website and going to your CPD Record page where you will see a link to it in the grey box at the bottom of the page.
Your course will be available for you to access until the 1st of November, so please save any information you need from the website before this time.

Welcome to Hibernia College Summer Courses 2009.

 

This year we are offering twenty six courses, including seven new exciting topics.

 

To those of you who are new to Hibernia College and those of you who return each year,

  Summer Courses 2009  
  Key Facts  

Hibernia College is a HETAC accredited online college offering quality assured blended and online education programmes.

Our courses are run in accordance with the DES criteria:

  • All courses will be released on Wednesday July 1st (by 10am approx.) and must be completed by Friday 28th August at 5pm.  When you study the lessons between these dates is up to you. 
  • Each course has 5 lessons and requires 20 hours study
  • The Discussion Forums are moderated by expert facilitators
  • At the end of the course you will have a Continuous Professional Development Record to print and keep (including all your approved work plus a certificate)
  • Completion of a course gives 3 EPV Days (you must check your own entitlement with the DES if unsure)
  • Department of Education and Science criteria for on-line courses stipulate that participants may only complete one on-line course for the awarding of EPV days.

Purchasing courses:

  • Courses may be purchased online or by sending an application form and payment to the Hibernia College office in Dublin (please allow 5 working days from receipt of application). See Store page for details.
  • Online purchasing will continue until Monday 24th August.  Postal applications must be received by Monday 17th August .
  • All courses cost: €99

A dedicated support team is available to answer all your queries, either by phone and email.  Course facilitators will also be available on email to answer any questions you have regarding the course content (see course page for individual email addresses).
